We collect your email address for sign-in and the structured financial data you choose to import or enter in the app: payout rows parsed from CSV files, expense rows, transaction edits, and property names.
When you use a public demo or calculator upload, we collect the uploaded CSV and parser metadata so we can improve import reliability.
We do not ask for your Airbnb, Vrbo, or Booking.com credentials. We do not connect to those platforms on your behalf. You export CSV files yourself and upload them manually.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
HostPayout does not currently send uploaded CSV files to an LLM provider. Any future mapping-assist feature must use minimized data, be covered by appropriate vendor data-processing terms, stay limited to reviewable property or category suggestions, and never compute or alter monetary amounts.
Signed-in CSV imports are parsed in your browser and the app stores the structured transaction data needed to power your dashboard. Raw uploaded file content may be retained for parser reliability and product analysis.
Public demo and calculator uploads are also stored for internal parser analysis, including the raw CSV text, detected headers, row count, likely platform, a file hash, browser user agent, and a hashed IP address. Public uploads are not shown publicly.
Raw CSV files are not sent wholesale to an LLM provider. Any future LLM payload rules must be minimized and reviewed before launch.
We use your data only to provide the product: transaction review, property-level profit views, import processing, and account support.
Property and category suggestions may be based on deterministic parsing, existing account properties and categories, and corrections you confirm in the app. You can review, override, and correct those suggestions.
Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Access is restricted with row-level security so each account can access only its own data.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Account deletion removes the working app data associated with that account, including properties, transactions, expenses, and saved assignments. Raw file content may be retained for parser reliability and product analysis unless it is covered by an erasure request.
Before deleting the account, you can export your current account data from Settings, including the uploaded CSV records retained by the app.
If you need to request erasure of your data outside the account-deletion flow, contact us at privacy@hostpayout.com.
We use functional cookies needed for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
